I’ve seen a lot of pictures of these beds and all of the ones I’ve seen have a purple boat bottom, yellow poles and a green roof (see picture below). However, I read a post from someone a few years back that describes hers as having a brown boat bottom, yellow poles and a red roof. Does anyone ever remember seeing one like that?

I have 2 kids (2yr boy, 4yr grl), my fiance has 3 (9m. grl, 3yr boy, 7yr grl) and his 7 and 3 yr old dont feel welcome out my house (which is where there moving, because he has an 2 bdrm app., and i have a 6 bdrm house)

My fiance is taking all of them on vaca for 2 weeks,but I have to stay because of work. So while their gone, we think its a good idea to decorate all their rooms (including my childrens, so my children don’t feel left)

His 7yr old grl is a girly girl, she loves tea parties, pink, sleepovers, & dress up (she’s a princess! lol)

His 3 yr old is an animal lover. He likes safari and jungle things. His fav. movie and book is The Jungle Book.

His 9m. grl has no favorite characters yet, so I need nursery ideas (cute ones!)

I also need beds for all of them, so if you can find a bed that works with their theme, then post a link please!

My 4yr old girl is a tomboy, she’s in little tikes tball,bball,& soccer.

My 2yr old loves cars and the movie Cars!

We already came up with plans to make all of them feel like part of the family. We made chore charts that are equal for all, and we’ve decided on techniques for parenting that we will implement for all five our kids.

We also want the kids to have a say in where we go on our family vacas.

His kids love mine, mine love his. I love his, he loves mine. Well, now their "ours" but you get my point.

The only problem is that his kids think its OUR house, not theirs, so we want it to feel like THEIR room.

We don’t want to wait for the kids to get back from vaca to start decorating, we need it done now.

And we want them to be suprised, so we can’t ask them for their input anymore than we have!
To answer somebodies question:

I feel that they are just scared of moving to a new house in a new town (their new house will be about a 30 minute drive from their old) and they are scared of their new life.

Plus, whenever they come to visit, since they don’t have their stuff here yet, they feel like their visiting a neighbor, and not living in their house.

Their mom had nothing to do with the fact that they dont feel welcome, unfortunately she passed away while giving birth to his youngest.
Please though, i do need ideas on specific items. Preferable at wal-mart, target, bed bath and beyond, linens and things, kmart, or something similiar since those are the stores around me and since I dont have time to have anything shipped.

Price isn’t an issue since we want them to absolutely love their new rooms.
